A proven process built around you
Building a custom log or timber home is one of the most significant projects many families will undertake. Our five-phase process is designed to provide clear communication, expert guidance, and personalized support from the first conversation through move-in day.
The five phases of your build
The first phase is about getting to know each other. We learn about your vision, goals, and budget while you learn more about Estemerwalt and our process. During this stage, we discuss timelines, financing options, design preferences, and your building site. Once your land purchase and design agreement are finalized, the project moves into the design phase.
Our design team works closely with you to create a home that complements your property and lifestyle. We evaluate site opportunities, identify potential challenges, refine budgets, coordinate with review boards when necessary, and establish a construction schedule that supports your goals.
As your builder secures permits and completes site preparation, Estemerwalt continues refining the design and construction details. This phase includes construction drawings, structural engineering, utility planning, foundation preparation, and delivery coordination to help ensure a smooth transition into construction.
Once plans are finalized, Estemerwalt begins manufacturing your custom log and timber package. Your Log Home Consultant serves as the primary point of contact, coordinating with the design and production teams while arranging delivery to your builder.
Construction brings your vision to life. Throughout the process, we remain in close communication with your builder and provide support as needed. Our team also helps guide selections for finishing materials while working toward a successful completion and occupancy.
