What's included in your log home package
Estemerwalt Log Homes offers one of the most comprehensive log home packages in the industry. Our standard package includes the materials needed to create a dried-in shell, while customized package options can be tailored to fit your project requirements.
When you choose Estemerwalt, you can move forward with confidence knowing the essential components of your home have been carefully considered.
Log styles, profiles and sizes
Estemerwalt manufactures a variety of log profiles and sizes to suit different architectural styles and personal preferences.

Milled D-Logs
The most popular choice for Estemerwalt homes, our D-logs pair a flat interior wall with the classic rounded log exterior. The flat inside face makes it simple to hang cabinets, artwork, and trim, while the outside keeps the traditional log home look. Available in 6×8, 8×6, 8×8, and 10×10 profiles, each log features a double tongue and groove sealing system designed for a secure, weather-tight fit.

Round Logs
For timeless log cabin character, our full-round logs are milled with rounded faces inside and out. Cut from kiln-dried Eastern White Pine in 10 inch and 12 inch profiles, they stack with the same precision tongue and groove system as our D-logs. The result is the handcrafted warmth of a traditional round-log home with the consistent fit of a milled log.

Half-Log Profiles
Want the log home look without full-log construction? Our half-log siding profiles are milled to match every log style we manufacture, so garages, barns, outbuildings, and stick-built additions can blend seamlessly with your home. Half-log siding is also a popular way to give an existing conventional structure the appearance of a true log home.
Looking for something different? Give us a call to discuss the exact profile you have in mind. We’re developing new profiles and styles all the time. There’s a good chance we can manufacture what you’re looking for. And because every profile starts at our own sawmill, you can explore the full range of logs, siding, paneling, and specialty wood products at the Estemerwalt Lumber site.
Why we build with Eastern Pine
Estemerwalt homes are built with Eastern White Pine, a species valued for its durability, versatility, and long-term performance. It offers natural resistance to decay, insects, and environmental exposure while experiencing less shrinkage and settling than many other log species.
To ensure quality and structural performance, our log walls are graded and inspected to Timber Products Inspections (TPI) standards. The result is a log home package built with materials designed to perform for generations.
